Sorry, blog friends, things have been crazy busy with family parties and running errands to prepare for my mom’s surgery on Monday so I don’t have an Inspiration Saturday post prepared this week. Please do still share your own inspiration posts in the comments, though! And I do have a little bit of knitting to show you:

This pretty thing is the Varia hat pattern by Alex Tinsley. It’s nice and easy with just a few rows of simple colorwork to form the lovely little scallops. I’m using Rowan Lima yarn, a baby alpaca /Merino wool/ nylon blend that is incredibly soft and should be perfect for my mom to wear post-chemo.
