My name is Alicia and I’m a fairly obsessed knitter with a weakness for socks, shawls, and shiny pretty yarn. Other than knitting I adore spinning, reading, music, nature, science, and now (my new thing!) embroidery.

In my non-knitting life, I’m an environmental consultant and mother of a 2-year-old (a.k.a. the Hatchling). I’m married to a wonderful guy (a.k.a. my Fiasco) and we live in Rhode Island with a fluffy cat (silly Darwin) who occasionally can’t keep out of the yarn.
